Side-by-side comparison
Compare every hybrid size in one place
Six SunRay hybrid pumps, one table. Each one runs 100% on solar power in daylight and switches to AC only if you wire it for that.
Lowest kit price $1,999
- Daytime source
- 100% solar from dedicated panels
- Grid needed for solar
- No; AC is optional
- Typical run
- 6-8 hours of sun per day
- Bill effect
- up to 30% on the utility bill
Row one: the power source
During the day every model in the table draws zero electricity from the utility.
Grid-tie systems need AC present before their panels do anything; here, no AC is needed for the solar to work.
Row two: the AC column
Wire AC in and the controller uses it automatically when the sun is not enough, for example a spa at night.
Leave it out and the pump simply runs on sun.
Row three: the savings line
The figure owners report is $100 to $250 a month, which moves with local rates and sun hours.
